If "YOU" purchase your own repair parts and software for computers from large distributors like Staples, CompUSA, Best Buy, Wall-Mart and On-Line at Egghead or Amazon, YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO SIGNIFICANT REBATES and other promotional offers by manufactures. If a computer repair facility purchases the repair parts and software for you and installs them, the HARDWARE and SOFTWARE may not get "registered" to "you", and you may not be able to claim a rebate. You will need a valid "original purchaser" receipt made out to you to claim your rebate. Depending on how your computer repair facility purchased the item, the receipt may not be made out in "your" name or you may not see this "original purchaser" receipt at all. Some computer repair facilities know this, and use "your rebate" to offset their operating costs. Furthermore, most hardware and software today must be "registered" via a "license key" or "serial number" upon installation. Rebates often require "serial numbers", "bar codes" and "labels" from the original containers in order to claim "rebates & promotions". You need to ask to have these containers returned to you in order to claim a rebate. Also know that most software must be "registered" upon installation, and most computer repair facilities lack personal details about the customer to register them correctly. Therefore, we would ask our customers to purchase your own repair parts and software from known reputable sources like large distributors and on-line retailers to be able to claim your rebates and to receive a valid "original purchaser" receipt, as well as original containers for the products you purchased. If we diagnose your computer with defective components and suggest part replacement, we will provide you with a list of parts that fit your computer, where they can be purchased for the cheapest prices and a list of options before repairing your computer. We do not pick up parts for customers and highly suggest that most chain superstores will ship parts to your front door and during promotions, will ship them for free. We will provide you with specific web addresses linked to the exact part you need for your repair and you can make the purchase preserving your "Rebate" opportunities, while having your parts shipped directly to your doorstep.
